Originality Requirement

Authors are required to submit original manuscripts that have not been published previously and are not under consideration by any other journal. All sources of information, including text, figures, tables, and ideas derived from other works, must be appropriately cited and referenced.

Plagiarism Screening

Every manuscript submitted to Journal of Clinical Prosthodontics and Implantology (J-CPI) is evaluated using recognized plagiarism detection software prior to peer review. The Editorial Office carefully examines similarity reports to distinguish legitimate overlap, such as references and standard scientific terminology, from unacceptable duplication or copied content.

Unacceptable Practices

The journal strictly prohibits:

  • Direct plagiarism or verbatim copying without proper attribution.
  • Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication of previously published work.
  • Data fabrication, data falsification, and image manipulation.
  • Improper citation practices or misrepresentation of research findings.

Any manuscript found to contain unethical publication practices may be rejected immediately or returned to the authors for clarification or revision.

Editorial Action

If plagiarism or research misconduct is identified at any stage of the publication process, Journal of Clinical Prosthodontics and Implantology (J-CPI) reserves the right to reject the manuscript, withdraw acceptance, retract the published article, publish a correction or retraction notice, and notify the authors' affiliated institution or funding agency when appropriate.
